Crunchyroll has unveiled its Fall 2026 anime lineup for Southeast Asia, and the show doing the most work to sell the season isn't one of the new titles. It's Black Clover, back for a long-awaited Season 2 on October 3, years after the original run ended its broadcast. Everything else in the announcement is built around that anchor.

The new-series side of the lineup leans into two Crunchyroll exclusives: Overgeared, premiering September 27, follows a debt-ridden VR gamer who inherits the skills of a legendary blacksmith after a botched quest resets his stats to zero, and PSYREN, arriving "coming soon," follows a search for a missing friend that spirals into a nationwide disappearance mystery and a deadly game. Both are exclusive to the platform, which is Crunchyroll using the season to make its own service the only place to watch two specific bets rather than just aggregating the season's biggest licenses.

The Rest of the Calendar

Firefly Wedding premieres October 9 with both Thai and Bahasa Indonesia dubs, the widest regional dub coverage in this announcement, while The Vermilion Mask follows October 10. Returning series filling out the season include Aoashi Season 2, A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 3, and Sasaki and Peeps Season 2, alongside continuing simulcasts of The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System and Please Excuse My Younger Brothers from summer.

For Southeast Asian audiences specifically, Crunchyroll confirmed Thai dubs across most of the marquee titles, including Black Clover Season 2, Overgeared, PSYREN, Aoashi Season 2, and The Vermilion Mask, with regional subtitle options in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Vietnamese, and both Chinese scripts spread across the broader schedule.

The season runs from late September through October, with dub premiere dates for several titles still to be announced.
