Editorial

GGWPTECH is independently owned and operated. There is no media group behind it, no investors, and no staff — it’s a one-person operation, and every hosting, hardware, and tooling bill comes out of my own pocket. I run it because I care about getting PC hardware, gaming, and music-gear coverage right, not because it’s backed by a budget.
Running a publication solo means doing the work of an entire newsroom alone. I can’t hire writers, editors, or researchers, and I can’t afford to pay for staff. So I use AI tools to complement my editorial workflow — helping with research, first drafts, outlining, copy-editing, and structural suggestions, the same way a writer might use spell-check or a search engine. It lets one person keep the lights on and keep publishing without cutting corners on quality.
AI assists; it doesn’t decide. Every review, benchmark, and buying guide is shaped, fact-checked, and approved by me before it goes live. The testing, the verdicts, and the GGWP Scores reflect my genuine hands-on experience and opinion — never an AI’s. AI helps me move faster on the words around that work; it doesn’t replace the judgment behind it.
I do not publish review scores generated by AI. I do not use AI to fabricate benchmarks, specs, or test results. I do not pass off unreviewed AI text as independent human analysis. If I haven’t verified something myself, it doesn’t ship.
If a piece of content is substantially AI-assisted beyond this normal workflow, I’ll note it clearly at the top of that article.
