ASUS just made availability official for the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM, two 4K Tandem RGB OLED gaming monitors that do the usual high-refresh OLED things well. But the detail worth pulling out of this release isn't the panel tech. It's that ASUS built a command-line interface and an "Agent Skill" so AI agents can query and adjust the monitor's settings through plain-language requests.

That's a genuinely new category of feature for a display, and it says more about where ASUS thinks PC peripherals are headed than anything else in the announcement. Whether anyone actually wants an AI agent adjusting their brightness or refresh mode is a separate question, but ASUS is clearly betting that agentic software poking at hardware settings becomes common enough to build for now rather than later.

The actual display specs

Strip the AI angle away and these are still solid 4K OLED monitors. Both use Tandem RGB OLED panels with a TrueBlack Glossy coating, which ASUS says delivers up to 27% larger color volume than standard OLED coatings along with sharper text and more precise color reproduction. The headline usability feature is Dual Mode: a hotkey switches the panel between full 4K resolution at 240Hz and a downscaled FHD mode at 480Hz, letting competitive players trade resolution for response time without digging through menus mid-match.

ASUS also leaned on its GaNFET power design for better heat dissipation, paired with a Neo Proximity Sensor that adjusts motion sensitivity and includes an auto-away timer, both aimed at reducing OLED burn-in risk over the monitor's life. That's a more practical selling point for anyone who's watched an OLED panel degrade from static UI elements than the marketing copy makes it sound.

ASUS didn't include pricing in this release, and it didn't spell out what changes between the 27-inch PG27UCWM and 32-inch PG32UCWM beyond screen size. Both are listed as available now through ASUS's regular retail channels. For buyers who don't care about the AI angle, the core pitch is the same as ASUS's other 2026 OLED monitors: get the panel quality without having to pick between resolution and refresh rate.
