VFC's biggest move this year isn't a single gun. It's a licensing deal that put its airsoft rifles on a real gunmaker's own store. Maxim Defense now sells two VFC-built AEGs, the PDX-SD and MDX-510, directly on maximdefense.com at US$529.99 each, alongside its real firearms.

That's unusual. Licensed airsoft guns normally carry a brand's trademarks and get sold through hobby shops. Here the licensor lists the replicas as its own products and says plainly they're manufactured by Vega Force Company.

VFC has no public newsroom, so this roundup pulls from Maxim Defense's product pages, VFC's IWA 2026 showing as reported by airsoft trade press, and retailer listings. Prices and dates from retailers are noted as such.

Maxim Defense PDX-SD (AEG)

The PDX-SD is the stubby one. Its battery goes inside the mock suppressor, which keeps the whole gun short without cramming a battery into the stock. Inside is VFC's Avalon V2 gearbox with steel gears and bearings, a long-type neodymium motor and a quick-change spring for adjusting power.

Fire control runs through GATE's Bluetooth Aster V2 MOSFET, so you can set fire modes, pre-cocking, rate of fire and active braking from your phone, with a low-battery warning built in. Maxim lists about 400 FPS on 0.20g BBs, a 289mm inner barrel, a 120-round STANAG midcap and 22 to 24 rounds per second on an 11.1V LiPo with a T-plug. It comes in Arid and Black.

Maxim Defense MDX-510 (AEG)

The MDX-510 shares the PDX-SD's internals: the same Avalon V2 gearbox, Aster V2 MOSFET, motor, 289mm barrel and listed 400 FPS. The difference is the layout. The battery moves into Maxim's CCS stock, and the gun copies the size and balance of the real MDX 510. Same US$529.99 price, same Arid and Black options.

Two more Maxim guns, both gas

VFC's IWA 2026 display also showed two gas guns under the Maxim license, according to Airsoft Milsim News' show coverage. The PDX SBR GBBR gets a new hop-up unit that you can service without tearing down the whole front end. The MD9 is a compact GBB SMG that takes Glock-pattern gas magazines from VFC and Umarex, with a TDC-style hop adjustment. The same coverage says the Maxim line launched in Asia in February 2026 with Europe to follow. Neither gas model has a confirmed price yet.

PP19-01 Vityaz (GBB)

On the Russian side, VFC's PP19-01 Vityaz GBB lists for US$528 at Octagon Airsoft, which gives August 24, 2026 as its release date. The listing describes steel external parts with a CNC steel bolt carrier, a lightweight aluminum main body, a Warsaw Pact side rail for PSO-1 or NSPU optics and a folding stock.

The detail upgraders will like: the hop-up rubber and inner barrel follow Tokyo Marui VSR specs, which opens up a deep pool of aftermarket parts. The listing puts it at 455 to 695mm long with a 235mm inner barrel, 35-round gas magazines with a 65cc tank and an empty stop.

What else VFC showed

Airsoft Milsim News' IWA report lists a lot more in the pipeline:

  • KS-3: a Knight's Armament-licensed GBBR with a URX6 handguard, VFC's EVO AR system, steel bolt and steel fire control parts
  • VR16 URG-I SBR GBB: the return of the VR16 name as an entry-level GBBR line, targeted for around April 2026
  • MP-443 Grach: a GBB pistol with a detachable CNC aluminum light rail
  • SA226 Tactical: a fixed threaded barrel, taller sights and an optic cut for RMR and DeltaPoint-style dots
  • AKM GBBR: full steel with real wood, targeted for around April 2027
  • AK-105 GBBR: announced with no details yet

The license deal is the real story

A gunmaker selling airsoft replicas of its own rifles under its own name is a vote of confidence in VFC's build quality. It also gives buyers a rare thing in airsoft: specs published by the brand whose name is on the receiver. Philippine pricing for all of these will come down to local importers.
