ASUS Philippines has upgraded its standard after-sales coverage, and the timing is deliberate. Starting June 8, 2026, eligible ASUS and ROG devices ship with the enhanced No. 1 Quality and Service Program, bringing longer warranties, more free cleanings and a doubled replacement window just as the new school year begins.
Warranty terms rarely make headlines, but they should weigh more heavily on a purchase than they usually do. A laptop is a multi-year investment, and what happens after something goes wrong often matters more than a spec sheet bump. ASUS is leaning into that by making service a selling point rather than fine print.
What actually changed
The headline upgrades are concrete. Flagship models including ProArt, Zenbook, Vivobook S, Vivobook Flip and ROG gaming laptops now carry a 3-year international and local warranty. Vivobook, TUF Gaming laptops and the ROG Ally handheld keep a 2-year international and local warranty. Eligible laptops and handhelds also retain 1-year Local Accidental Damage Protection, which covers customer-induced accidents the standard warranty does not.
Three other changes stand out. Free device cleaning under ASUS Preventive Maintenance now runs up to 6 times across the warranty period, with up to 2 claims a year. The replacement window doubles from 7 days to 14 days. And flagship laptop owners get a local on-site service upgrade, cutting down trips to a service center.
The local angle
The support network is the part that matters most for Filipino buyers. ASUS lists more than 100 authorized service centers across the Philippines and coverage in over 90 countries, so the warranty travels if you do. For students relying on one laptop for research, group work and content creation, on-site service and a 14-day replacement window remove a lot of the anxiety that comes with a single critical device.
A few caveats apply. The enhanced package covers units sold and activated from June 8 onward, prior purchases keep their original terms, and business devices are excluded. Full eligibility is on the ASUS microsite. As back-to-school promos go, stronger warranty coverage is one of the more useful ones a brand can offer.
