ASUS Philippines is giving buyers of eligible ASUS and ROG laptops three free months of Google AI Pro or Google AI Plus starting September 7, and the fine print matters more than the pitch. This is not a loyalty perk cooked up for new hardware alone. The offer covers eligible 2025 and 2026 models already sitting in people's bags, plus 2027 laptops that have not launched yet, redeemed through the MyASUS app.
Google AI Pro normally runs ₱1,100 a month and comes with 5TB of cloud storage, expanded Gemini access, higher usage limits across Google's AI tools, and broader access to agentic features like Google Antigravity and Jules. Google AI Plus is the lighter tier at ₱285 a month, with 400GB of storage and a step up from the free plan's capped Gemini access. Three months of either would normally cost ASUS owners somewhere between ₱855 and ₱3,300, which is the actual value being handed out here, not just a vague "AI experience."
The redemption path is worth reading closely before treating this as free money. Owners open MyASUS, go to the User Center, claim the coupon under Member Exclusive Coupons, and get redirected to Google's own sign-up flow to enter a payment method. When the three-month window ends, Google auto-renews at full price unless the subscriber cancels first. That is standard practice for trial subscriptions industry-wide, but it is easy to miss when a press release frames the whole thing as a gift.
The bigger picture here is Google buying distribution. ASUS is not building anything new into its laptops. It is acting as a checkout counter for a Google subscription product, across ROG, TUF Gaming, ProArt, Zenbook and Vivobook lines, in whatever markets Google AI Pro and Plus already operate in. For Google, that turns every ASUS laptop purchase this year into a shot at a paying AI subscriber a few months later. For ASUS, it is a value-add that costs nothing beyond the redemption infrastructure.
The promotion runs from September 7, 2026 through August 9, 2027, with redemption open until September 10, 2027. ASUS is running this alongside its existing No. 1 Quality, School-Ready Deals promo through September 15, and buyers can check model eligibility on ASUS's Philippine site before assuming their unit qualifies.
