ASUS Republic of Gamers built the flashiest laptop of its 20th anniversary lineup, then priced it so most buyers will walk right past it toward the machines next to it on the shelf. The 2026 ROG Zephyrus range lands in the Philippines June 24, led by the Zephyrus Duo, ASUS's claimed world-first 16-inch dual-screen gaming laptop, alongside the more conventional G16 and G14.
The Duo: an anniversary flex, not a mainstream pick
The Duo (GX651AX) stacks two 16-inch 16:10 OLED touchscreens, both 120Hz, 3K ROG Nebula HDR panels rated for 1,100 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 and Dolby Vision. A 320-degree kickstand hinge flips between Laptop, Dual-Screen, Book, Tent and Sharing modes via ASUS ScreenXpert. Inside sits an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU at 150W max TGP, 64GB of LPDDR5X and a 2TB SSD, plus an ASUS Pen 3.0 and ROG Universal Backpack in the box.
The introductory SRP is PHP 559,995. That's workstation money, not gaming-laptop money, and it puts the Duo firmly in showpiece territory: the laptop ASUS wants people talking about, not the one it expects most people to buy.
G16 and G14: where the actual sales will happen
The G16 (GU606) keeps a slim 1.49cm aluminum body at 1.85kg with the same Core Ultra 9 386H and an RTX 5090 at 160W TGP, DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, behind a 16-inch 2.5K Nebula HDR OLED at 240Hz. ASUS quotes up to 22 hours of video playback from its 90Wh battery. Pricing starts at PHP 289,995 for the RTX 5070 Ti build and PHP 429,995 for the RTX 5090 configuration.
The G14 (GU405) goes ultraportable at 1.59cm and 1.5kg, topping out at an RTX 5080 Laptop GPU at 130W TGP behind a 14-inch 3K 120Hz Nebula HDR OLED. It opens at PHP 224,995 for the RTX 5070 model and PHP 324,995 for the RTX 5080 version. ASUS is keeping the AMD Ryzen G14 (GA403) on shelves too, for buyers who want that platform instead.
What's actually in the box
Every Zephyrus ships with ASUS's No. 1 Quality and Service package: a 3-year international and local warranty, 1-year local accidental damage protection with up to six claims under Premium Care, an ROG gaming mouse, three months of PC Game Pass, a lifetime Office 2024 license, a year of Microsoft 365 Basic and up to 700GB of cloud storage.
If the dual-screen novelty is genuinely what you're after, the Duo is available now through authorized ROG retailers. Everyone else gets the same Core Ultra 9 and RTX 50-series silicon in a shape that costs less than half as much.
