NVIDIA outlines DLSS 4.5, G-SYNC Pulsar monitors, RTX updates, and GeForce NOW expansion at CES 2026

NVIDIA introduced DLSS 4.5, which adds Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and a new 6× Multi Frame Generation mode. According to NVIDIA, the update can generate up to five AI frames per rendered frame on GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs, targeting higher frame rates in demanding workloads such as path-traced games.

DLSS 4.5 also includes a second-generation transformer model for Super Resolution. NVIDIA says the updated model will be available across more than 400 games and applications.

NVIDIA stated that DLSS 4 is now supported in over 250 games and apps. Upcoming titles with DLSS 4 or ray tracing support include 007 First Light, PRAGMATA, Phantom Blade Zero, Resident Evil Requiem, Active Matter, Screamer, and DEFECT. No performance targets or PC requirements were disclosed.

RTX Remix Logic

NVIDIA announced an update to RTX Remix, adding a new system called RTX Remix Logic. The feature allows modders to trigger visual effects based on in-game events without access to source code. NVIDIA says the system includes more than 900 configurable parameters and supports visual modification of over 165 classic PC games. The update will be distributed through the NVIDIA App later this month.

G-SYNC Pulsar monitors

NVIDIA confirmed that monitors supporting G-SYNC Pulsar will go on sale starting January 7. G-SYNC Pulsar combines variable refresh rate with variable-frequency backlight strobing, which NVIDIA claims improves motion clarity beyond traditional VRR implementations.

Initial G-SYNC Pulsar displays will come from Acer, AOC, ASUS, and MSI. These monitors also include a new Ambient Adaptive feature that automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature based on lighting conditions.

NVIDIA App and drivers

A new NVIDIA App update adds support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and coincides with a new GeForce Game Ready Driver. The app exits beta on January 13, though DLSS 4.5 features are available immediately through the beta channel.

Additional changes include migrated NVIDIA Surround controls, a new Debug Mode that disables overclocking until reboot, clearer Advanced Optimus app identification on laptops, and expanded developer profiling options. The driver also adds support for 63 additional G-SYNC Compatible displays, including new 2026 TVs from LG and Samsung.

GeForce NOW expansion

NVIDIA announced new native GeForce NOW apps for Linux PCs and Amazon Fire TV devices. The company also added HOTAS controller support for flight simulation titles and streamlined account sign-in for certain publishers.

GeForce NOW’s library now exceeds 4,500 titles. NVIDIA said upcoming PC releases such as 007 First Light, Active Matter, Resident Evil Requiem, and Crimson Desert will also be playable via the service.

RTX AI and local content creation

NVIDIA detailed updates aimed at improving local AI workloads on RTX systems. Changes include PyTorch-CUDA optimizations, FP8 and FP4 precision support in ComfyUI, and up to 60% lower VRAM usage in some image and video generation tasks.

RTX Video Super Resolution is now integrated into ComfyUI for 4K video workflows. NVIDIA also added optimizations for Lightricks’ LTX-2 audio-video model and introduced a Blender-based pipeline for generating 4K AI video from 3D scenes. Additional updates target faster inference for small language models and AI-assisted video search.

NVIDIA did not announce pricing changes or hardware requirements for these features.
