GIGABYTE shows AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY with new cooling layout at CES 2026

At CES 2026, GIGABYTE unveiled the AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY graphics card. The company highlighted a compact card design paired with a new cooling approach and a separated PCB layout.

The card is based on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series platform and uses a new WINDFORCE HYPERBURST cooling system. GIGABYTE says the design separates the PCB to improve airflow through both sides of the card, allowing air to pass through the backplate rather than being blocked by internal components.

The cooling system uses a dual flow-through layout combined with an additional centrally mounted “Overdrive Fan” that activates under heavy load. According to GIGABYTE, the extra fan is intended to increase airflow during sustained workloads. The company did not provide thermal performance data, noise levels, or power targets.

The AORUS RTX 5090 INFINITY uses a circular heatsink design and a die-cast metal shroud. RGB Halo lighting is integrated into the circular frame. Despite being positioned as a flagship model, the card measures 33 cm in length and 14.5 cm in height, which GIGABYTE says is intended to improve compatibility with a wider range of PC cases.

The GPU is built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture and supports features such as DLSS 4 and NVIDIA Studio tools. GIGABYTE did not disclose clock speeds, power requirements, pricing, or a retail launch date.

The card is being shown at GIGABYTE’s CES booth (#8519) in the LVCC North Hall, with additional demonstrations scheduled during media and private sessions at The Venetian.
