KLEVV wants you to think of the CRAS C930, C925G and C910G as a coordinated PCIe Gen4 lineup launch. In reality, all three drives have been shipping and getting reviewed by outlets like Tom's Hardware and KitGuru for a while now. What KLEVV sent this week is a bundled pitch, not a launch.

That does not make the drives themselves uninteresting, it just changes what the story actually is. The lineup spans KLEVV's full range of PCIe Gen4 priorities: the CRAS C930 chases raw speed, the C925G chases a slim thermal footprint, and the C910G chases capacity. Buyers get to pick which trade-off matters to them rather than settling for one drive that tries to do everything.

The C930 is the flagship, rated for sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,400MB/s and 6,800MB/s on its 2TB model, backed by a DRAM cache buffer and random read and write performance up to 1,000K IOPS. It supports an optional flat-fin aluminum heatsink KLEVV claims cuts temperatures by up to 20 percent, and it is sized to fit the PlayStation 5's expansion slot for console owners who want more storage without losing the SSD's rated speed.

The C925G trades some of that peak performance for a graphene-copper composite heatsink built to stay slim enough for laptops and tight desktop cases, with sequential reads still reaching 7,400MB/s and writes scaling from 6,200MB/s to 6,500MB/s depending on capacity. The C910G goes the other direction, capping sequential speeds at 5,200MB/s read and 4,800MB/s write in exchange for capacities up to 4TB and endurance rated at 2,800TBW on that top tier, aimed at people who care more about not running out of space than about chasing a speed number.

All three carry KLEVV's usual reliability features, including SLC caching, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, LDPC error correction and AES 256-bit encryption, plus a bundled copy of Acronis True Image for migrating an old drive over. None of that is new either, but it is a reasonable baseline for a Gen4 drive at this point. If you already own one of these three SSDs, there is nothing here that should make you feel like you missed a launch. If you do not, KLEVV has at least made it easier to see the three options side by side and pick the one that matches how you actually use storage.
