GIGABYTE has unveiled its latest AORUS Gen5 10000 SSD. This M.2 2280 form factor SSD features a new generation PCIe® 5.0 controller and ultra-fast 3D-TLC NAND Flash, which provides more than 40% increased performance over PCIe® 4.0 SSDs. The unique design of the SSD and heatsink offers greater flexibility in system building and thermal options for users.

The AORUS Gen5 10000 SSD offers 10 GB/s ultra-fast access speed, thanks to its Phison PS5026-E26 8-channel controller and over 200-layer stack structure of 3D-TLC NAND Flash. The SSD is compatible with the latest PCIe® 5.0 architecture of both Intel and AMD platforms, making it an excellent choice for content creators, gamers, and anyone seeking top-of-the-line performance. Additionally, the SSD monitoring feature of GIGABYTE’s GCC application provides users with real-time updates on the status of the SSD.

To prevent possible throttling, the AORUS Gen5 10000 SSD has a flexible heatsink design that allows for a cooler operating temperature. The SSD features an NVMe M.2 interface, and for optimal performance, GIGABYTE recommends using one of its PCIe® 5.0 supported motherboards. The R&D team at GIGABYTE continues to work on improving the performance of its products, with access speeds up to 12GB/s currently in development.
