World of Warcraft: Forever's next dungeon reveal is not coming from a Blizzard livestream on Blizzard's own schedule. It is coming from a convention keynote in Melbourne.

Executive producer Holly Longdale will open PAX Aus 2026 with the show's Storytime keynote on October 9, using the slot to reflect on her two decades in the industry and the state of the Warcraft universe rather than to run a product demo. The actual news is what comes after her: associate production director Clay Stone will follow with a dungeon deep dive covering one of the new dungeons landing in World of Warcraft: Forever, walking through the design team's approach to building it.

Putting a beta-stage reveal inside a convention keynote instead of a dedicated developer livestream is a deliberate choice, not a scheduling accident. It ties new WoW content to a live audience reaction, gives Blizzard a press moment tied to a bigger event rather than a standalone announcement, and lets the studio frame the reveal as part of a broader industry conversation. The tradeoff is that anyone not following PAX Aus specifically has to go looking for it.

For readers who are not in Melbourne, the keynote streams live on the Warcraft Twitch channel or the PAX Twitch channel starting at 12:00pm AEDT on October 9, which is 10:00am in the Philippines. Blizzard is also running a signing session with Longdale and Stone right after, and giving PAX Aus attendees hands-on time with the World of Warcraft: Forever beta at a dedicated booth through the weekend, along with a themed photo setup and a Pinny Arcade pin tied to completing a quest card, while supplies last.

None of the dungeon's actual content has been shown yet. What Blizzard has confirmed is the format: a keynote first, then a technical walkthrough, then hands-on access for people physically at the show. If the dungeon itself is worth the buildup, that will only be clear once Stone's deep dive actually airs.
