Crunchyroll has released its full Summer 2026 anime schedule, and it's a heavy season. Simulcasts begin June 24 and run through July, with a mix of high-profile returning series, new adaptations, and exclusives that should keep streaming queues full through October.
The Headliners
The biggest returning title is Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 (July 6, Studio Bind), exclusive to Crunchyroll. One of the most technically polished isekai series running, Mushoku Tensei continues Rudeus Greyrat's story and the production quality hasn't dropped. If you've been following it, this is mandatory viewing.
Black Torch (July 4, 100studio) is the season's most intriguing new series — a shinobi story involving a teenage animal whisperer whose encounter with a mononoke cat sets off a collision between the human and spectral worlds. The source manga has a cult following and the studio behind it is newer, which makes this one a genuine wildcard.
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 (July 4, Aura Studio) continues Arc's quest in a fantasy world where he's stuck in the body of a skeleton. The first season was breezy fun with strong action setpieces; the second season picks up with an arc involving Count Hilk and oppressed elves and beasts.
You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2 (July 6, Lapin Track) returns for fans of the rom-com setup: the cheerful Suzuki pursuing the stoic Tani. Low stakes, reliable genre comfort food.
Continuing Series Worth Watching
Several long-runners are carrying through the summer. ONE PIECE continues its Elbaph Arc Part 2, which is shaping up to be one of the more significant arcs in years. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 and The Drops of God are both also running through the season alongside Daemons of the Shadow Realm and LIAR GAME.
New Exclusives to Note
Crunchyroll is pushing several exclusives this season. Goodbye, Lara (July 6, Kinema Citrus) has an interesting premise: a mermaid princess from 200 years ago wakes up in Lake Biwa with one last chance at life and love. I Became a Legend after My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (July 3) follows an S-rank mage who returns victorious only to find the world moved on without him. Both look like they could break out depending on execution.
The full schedule starts June 24 with Heroine? Saint? No, I'm an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)! Downloadable key art and assets for all titles are available via the official Crunchyroll media drive.
