Crunchyroll is bringing the first 746 episodes of ONE PIECE to Southeast Asia in two batches, with English subtitles and dubs attached to the entire run. Episodes 1 through 325 are available now, and episodes 326 through 746, the back half, arrive October 25.
That's a genuinely large catalog move, not a seasonal simulcast add. It fixes a problem the region has had with ONE PIECE for years: access to the back catalog with a dub attached has lagged behind the weekly new episodes Crunchyroll already simulcasts, which made jumping in from the beginning harder than following the current arc.
This connects directly to the dub backlog Crunchyroll already flagged
Crunchyroll confirmed back in August that its English dub was finally catching up to the weekly simulcast pace starting with the Elbaph arc, the newest material. This catalog expansion fills in the other end of the timeline, the earliest episodes, so a new viewer in Southeast Asia can now start from episode one in English and theoretically watch straight through to what's airing weekly, once both halves of this rollout land.
746 episodes is still short of ONE PIECE's full run, which has passed 1,100 episodes in Japan, so this isn't the whole series. It's the pre-timeskip and early post-timeskip material, enough to cover roughly the first two thirds of the story and get a new viewer caught up to a point where jumping to recent simulcasts isn't a complete non sequitur.
Why October 25 and not all at once
Splitting a 746-episode catalog into two batches a month apart is almost certainly a licensing or technical staggering decision rather than a creative one. Crunchyroll doesn't explain the gap in the announcement, but releasing 746 episodes with full dub and subtitle tracks simultaneously would be an unusual technical lift even for a platform with Crunchyroll's resources. For viewers, the practical effect is that starting the binge now still won't get anyone past episode 325 before the back half shows up.
