ASUS Republic of Gamers held its “Dare to Innovate” virtual event at CES 2026, marking 20 years of the ROG brand and previewing upcoming gaming laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and accessories.
The presentation focused on new hardware across multiple product categories. ASUS did not announce pricing or retail availability for most products.
Zephyrus laptops
ROG showed updates to its Zephyrus laptop lineup, including the Zephyrus G14 (GU405/GA403) and G16 (GU606). Both models use Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance for local AI workloads. The G14 supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, while the G16 goes up to an RTX 5090. ASUS also plans an AMD Ryzen AI–based version of the G14 with Copilot+ support.
Both laptops feature updated Nebula HDR displays rated at up to 1,100 nits, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and Delta E < 1 color accuracy. ASUS says maximum GPU power limits have increased compared to previous generations. Cooling updates include a redesigned bottom panel and liquid metal on the CPU.
ASUS also highlighted the Zephyrus Duo 16 (GX651), a dual-screen laptop with two 3K OLED touch displays running at 120Hz. It supports up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU and uses a vapor chamber–based cooling system.
Collaboration with Kojima Productions
ROG announced a collaboration with Kojima Productions. The centerpiece is the Flow Z13-KJP, a 13.4-inch detachable system powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics and a 50 TOPS NPU. The device includes a 2.5K 180Hz touchscreen and ships with Kojima-themed design elements and software customization.
Matching peripherals include themed versions of the ROG Delta II headset, ROG Keris II Origin mouse, and ROG Scabbard II XXL mouse pad. ASUS did not share release timing.
ROG G1000 desktop
ASUS previewed the ROG G1000 prebuilt desktop, which includes a 420 mm AIO liquid cooler and a large ATX tower chassis. A key visual feature is the AniMe Holo fan module, which projects customizable holographic effects. GPU options include NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, or 5070 Ti, as well as AMD Radeon 9070 XT. The system supports up to 128GB of DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0 storage.
Motherboards and cooling
ASUS announced several new AMD-focused motherboards, including the ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial and X870E Dark Hero. The Glacial model includes seven M.2 slots, dual USB4 ports, 10G Ethernet, and a built-in 5-inch LCD. It received a CES 2026 Innovation Award. The Dark Hero offers fewer expansion features but similar AI-assisted tuning tools.
New AIO liquid coolers were also shown, including the ROG Strix SLC/LC IV series and Ryuo IV 360 ARGB. These models focus on simplified cabling, integrated displays, and updated pump designs. Detailed performance specifications were not provided.
Displays and AR glasses
ROG announced new OLED gaming monitors, including the Swift OLED PG27UCWM and PG34WCDN. The PG27UCWM supports dual modes of 4K at 240Hz or 1080p at 480Hz using a Tandem RGB OLED panel. The ultrawide PG34WCDN uses a QD-OLED panel with a 360Hz refresh rate. Both monitors include DisplayPort 2.1a support.
ASUS also introduced the ROG XREAL R1 Gaming Glasses, developed with XREAL. The glasses use 1080p micro-OLED displays at 240Hz and connect through a dedicated control dock. ASUS claims a virtual screen size equivalent to 171 inches at a 4-meter viewing distance.
Audio and input devices
New audio products include the ROG Kithara, a planar magnetic open-back headset developed with HIFIMAN, and the ROG Cetra Open Wireless open-ear earbuds with Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless support.
ASUS also announced the ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard, which uses magnetic Hall-effect switches with adjustable actuation and an 8,000Hz polling rate.
ROG’s CES 2026 exhibit was located at The Venetian Expo, Level 3, San Polo #3403. ASUS did not provide firm release dates or pricing for most of the announced products.
