Taiwan International Trade Shows will push through this year despite COVID-19February 24, 2020
These past few months, the COVID-19 outbreak has quickly spread across different countries which led to some of the biggest annual conventions and trade shows to cancel this year such as the Taipei Game Show and some brands are backing out from other trade shows as well.
Given the situation, some people are expecting COMPUTEX 2020 to be cancelled as well which led us to try and confirm the rumors of the cancellation through our contacts in Taiwan Trade Center. They said that “there are no notice of cancellation” as of now and the show will “push through” despite the COVID-19 situation. However, they also said that they will notify all partners and international visitors of any development regarding COMPUTEX 2020 and the COVID-19 situation in Taiwan.
With that, we received an email today from TAITRA assuring that Taiwan has some of the best medical services in the world and that they have prepared cautionary measures and will go the extra mile to provide additional services to maximize the benefits of business trips in Taiwan this year.
