AMD promises that their Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile Processors will have high-performance levels and incredible battery life for gamers, creators, and professionals.
We are expected to see these new laptops powered by Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile processors will be available from major PC manufacturers starting in Q1 2021. Among these new product portfolio featuring the “Zen 3” core, we will also see laptops with the newly announced AMD Ryzen PRO 5000 Series Mobile Processors, delivering enterprise-grade security and seamless manageability to commercial users.
Throughout the course of 2021, AMD expects a broad portfolio of more than 150 consumer and commercial notebooks based on the Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile Processors.
H-Series and U-Series processor line up
Building upon the previous generation of leadership mobile processors, the Ryzen 5000 Series includes high-performance H- and ultra-mobile U-Series processors.
AMD Ryzen 5000 H-Series Mobile Processors deliver impressive gaming experiences at the top of the product stack by combining unmatched performance with outstanding battery life, featuring up to 8 cores and 16 threads and built on the new AMD “Zen 3” architecture.
For mainstream consumers looking for performance on-the-go, the AMD Ryzen 5000 U-Series Mobile Processors offer the perfect blend of performance and efficiency.
HX-Series and HS-Series processor line up
The HS processors bring the power of H-Series in thinner and lighter form factors.
On the other hand, the AMD Ryzen HX-Series processors are the company’s new top of the line processors that will provide gamers and creators with elite-level performance.
The new AMD Ryzen 9 5000 HX-series processors have increased single-threaded performance and faster multi-threaded performance over the previous generation making it the ideal solution for gaming and creator notebooks.
We are all pretty excited to see what kind of performance we’ll see with the new AMD Ryzen 5000-series mobile processors.
It has always been the assumption that in gaming and workstation laptops, an Intel + NVIDIA combination is the performance king in these so-called “real world” applications.
We would love to try both an AMD Ryzen 5000 + Radeon Graphics or AMD Ryzen 5000 + NVIDIA GeForce graphics configuration in a future laptop.
