We previously looked at the Aerocool Playa RGB Case and we thought that it was pretty awesome. Now, we are excited to take look at one of the high-end products from AeroCool: the Tor Pro RGB Full Tower case.
This is a high-end full E-ATX Tower case with dual tempered glass that offers a ton of cooling options including RGB fans and great hardware compatibility. Though looking fairly similar to the original Aerocool Tor, the Tor Pro is aimed for users who wants something bigger.

At an SRP of Php5,950, this case is definitely in the upper-budget range with the expandability this form factor offers. If you love RGB and tons of space, this one is for you.

Unboxing
The Aerocool Tor Pro comes in a cardboard backs and is neatly packed in foam and while the chassis is protected by a plastic bag. The chassis comes with a bag of screws, some zipties, a manual, and a remote control for the RGB fans.
Aesthetics
The case features tinted tempered glass on both the front and side panel that helps showing off your high-end components. Popping up the front panel you will see the unique pre-installed fans with a square RGB frame. These fans are connected to the included fan hub which is powered via molex adapter.

Inside the case you will see the huge space for your PC hardware and another RGB fan on the rear exhaust. Unlike the, Aerocool Playa, the Tor Pro has a dual chamber design with the PSU compartment on top of the case which also allows for mounting of additional fans or water cooling components.

On top of the front panel, you will find the USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, headphone and microphone input, RGB switch, reset and power button. An empty slot for a USB-C port is also available and AeroCool could’ve included one for added value.
Inside the case
Taking a look at the inside of the case you can see that you have room for an E-ATX motherboard. The top portion of the case has clearance for three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans, as well as room for a 240mm radiator. There are also accessible cables routing on top which will make cabling much easier.

Though there are no rubber grommets on the cable routing holes that could’ve allowed for cleaner looking cable management, there are many ways that you can hide the cables.

On the back side, there is enough depth on the cable management area for easy routing of cables. There are also mounting for two 2.5″ drives and two 3.5” drives with their own drive cages.

On the back there is also the included fan hub powered by a molex adapter and has PWM and RGB connections so you can plug it into your motherboard for more control.

As mentioned earlier, the PSU shroud is on top which has a generous amount of space for the cables. The only downside is that unless the other side of the grill is populated with fans, you can see the messy cables from the other side.
Airflow concerns
Though the AeroCool Tor Pro is all about functionality and aesthetics, I have some concerns with it’s airflow performance. The front panel has ventilation on both sides but the three 120mm fans on the front is set too close to the front panel with one side of the vent blocked by the side panel tempered glass.

This can be addressed by installing the front fans behind the front mounts which will obstruct the RGB lighting, or you can install intake fans on the bottom of the case to lift cold air up from the bottom.
Lit up, building experience, final thoughts
I have always been a fan of massive PC cases and the AeroCool Tor Pro gave the satisfaction of having a lot of room for cable management, tons of cooling options, and more hardware.

The case looks amazing fully kitted with RGB lit components. Anybody who is an RGB enthusiast will definitely be satisfied with this and more so those who are into making custom liquid cooling systems with the amount of space this case has.
Pros
- Included RGB fans with the hub which gives this case added value compared to other cases in it’s price range. The fan hub has PWM and RGB headers so you can control them via motherboard’s software.
- Lots of cable management
- Dual-chamber design
- Plenty of room for custom liquid cooling systems
Cons
- Airflow needs to be reworked.
Keeping all of these in mind, we feel that the AeroCool Tor Pro is a unique RGB Full Tower Case that has a lot of potential in terms of customization and we would not hesitate to give this our recommendation.
