German developer, Christoph Shied and his team recently released the Q2VKPT project on GitHub. It’s an experiment to validate the results of ray tracing by modding Quake 2 to support Ray Tracing.
More importantly, the demo shoes how ray tracing works in real time when fully optimized in a game giving a much improved visual experience of the game.
