AMD celebrates Ryzen’s 5th birthday this year and with this, they have released a video interview of AMD’s John Taylor, Marketing Officer and Robert Hallock, Director of Technical Marketing to talk about AMD’s comeback to the PC market and how their innovation shaped the PC industry moving forward.
In 2016, AMD announced and released the Ryzen CPU a year after. The flagship Ryzen 7 1800X was an 8-core CPU that gradually rose to the top of PC gaming builds. Then, AMD pushed the market with $200 6-core CPUs, setting a new benchmark for mid-range gaming PCs.
AMD has dominated the CPU market and now aims for a major stake share in the future of computing.
